High temperature short-time baking possible! "HAA curing type polyester resin powder coating" QB
Environmentally friendly powder coating that can be baked at high temperatures for a short time! Excellent post-processing properties ensure no cracking or peeling occurs even after bending post-application! Compatible with PCM lines!
The HAA hardening type polyester resin-based powder coating "Toa Powder Apress" series has a new product, "Toa Powder Apress QB," added to its lineup! It cures quickly due to high-temperature baking, which shortens the process time. Additionally, during the baking reaction, very little yellowing gas such as smoke or resin is generated, which helps to suppress the yellowing of the coating film. ◆ High-temperature short-time baking The usual baking condition is 160°C for 20 minutes (substrate temperature), but it is possible to achieve the properties of the coating film at 190°C for 5 minutes. If the substrate temperature is raised above 200°C, a coating film can be formed in over 60 seconds. ◆ Excellent post-processing properties Even with a coating thickness of 150μm, there is no cracking or peeling of the coating film when bent at a 180° angle with a diameter of 2mm. It can be adapted to various lines, such as pre-coated metal (PCM) lines. When painted on aluminum foil and folded into a crane, there is no cracking or peeling of the coating film. (See main image) ◆ Environmentally friendly type It uses an HAA hardener, and there is no volatilization of PRTR substances during the baking reaction. There is very little smoke or resin generation, which helps to suppress the yellowing of the coating film and keeps the drying oven clean.
